How to use eTurabian to
generate citation:
Step 1. We recommend you create an account by clicking on the link Log in
/ Create new account
under Tools. Choose your username, password and enter your e-mail.
After completing it, click Submit and you can start making you citations now.
Step 2. If you would like to create a book citation of the book you cite
in your paper, thesis, dissertation, etc., click on Choose Citation Type,
then Book and enter the book info - you do not need to enter all
the fields, the required fields are marked as .
If there is something you would like to enter and it is not in the form click
on Advanced in the right corner of the form: Interface: Basic - Advanced and more options are going to be visible.
If you need to include italics in the title you can do this way:
Non Italic Part of the Title <i>Italic Title</i>.
Once you are ready, at the bottom of the form click which kind of Turabian
Citation you would like under: Citation Style:
Bibliography and
Footnotes
Reference List and
Parentheticals
and click Submit.
If there is enough information to generate citation you will get formatted one,
if not, the program will prompt you to enter more info.
The same goes for other citation sources - journal, thesis and dissertations,
music scores, etc. If you do not see the citation
source you need to make, click on click
here for more...
under Choose Citation Type and you will see more choices.
Step 3. After you made your entries you can see them in alphabetical
order by clicking on View all citation results
under Tools.
You can then copy and paste them into your word processor.
To make changes (and add more footnotes) you can click on Manage my projects
- also under Tools.
That should give you a way to properly citing resources according to Kate L.
