Annoucenment:
To facilitate citing books in print - the most often cited item - we have Cite with ISBN, Cite with Keywords and Cite with MARC record in the Tools menu box on the right. These are some quick ways to speed up your work. Try it today!
Step-by-step Instructions
Step 1. Click on Choose Library Catalogue (opens in a new page) to find item to cite and click on the link to view the item.
Step 2. Click on MARC View - ask librarian if cannot find it. Sometimes MARC View is called MARC Display or Staff View.
Step 3. Right-click the library webpage, click Select All, right-click again, Copy & Paste into the textbox below (on this page) and click Submit.

If the library does not have MARC View use the old version of Book Citation Express. Vast majority of school and public libraries provide MARC display - according to Library of Congress it is called record with MARC21 content designators. Ask librarian if cannot find it.
