To facilitate citing books in print - the most often cited item - we have Cite with ISBN, Cite with Keywords, Cite with Library of Congress LCCN and Cite with MARC record in the Tools menu box on the right. These are some quick ways to speed up your work. Try it today!
If part of the title is in italics you have to decide whether it is another title within the title or is it a term such as names of ships or species names, etc.

If it is a title, enclose it in double quotation marks.
If it is a term, input it in italics as instructed below.


To add italics type in the title box:
Non italic text <i>text in title in italics</i> non italic text

Papers Presented at Meetings
 = required field

Author           add more authors
    Enter the names the way you want them alphabetized, for example:
    First Name: Ludwig van Last Name: Beethoven
First Name:      Last Name:
Suffix (example: Jr. or Sr. with no comma in front)

Paper Title
Headline style capitalization for English title in bibliography style. Sentence style capitalization for English title in reference list style.
Follow relevant language rules for non-English title.

Description of the paper - for example: paper presented at the annual meeting of the Organization of American Historians
City and State - in a format like this: Cincinnati, OH
Date - in a format like this (no abbreviations): May 19, 2012
If multimedia: file format - Mp3, Flv, Wma, Wmv, etc.
You can also enter it in more elaborate form, for instance:
Mpeg4 Video with Mp3 Audio
Online Info
Permalink, DOI or a complete web address of the web page (including http:// or https://):
Enter the accessed date in a format like this (no abbreviations):
